nRA COURSES

Learn gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship, and shooting range safety.

Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor.

No previous experience or NRA affiliation needed.

Teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. The NRA CCW Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. 

This instructor-led only course gives you direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end and may be conducted in a classroom and on a shooting range with an Instructor.

Personalized instruction on proper handling, maintenance, and shooting of a pistol. Focusing on shooting fundamentals, marksmanship, target acquisition, grip, stance, follow on shots, and target transitions. For those with no previous experience or those who need an in depth refresher course.

Builds on the fundamentals of pistol shooting. Practicing drawing from concealment or holster, failure drills, engaging multiple targets at different distances, trigger control, dry fire drill , and rapid follow on shots.

Instruction on fundamental gun handling techniques, reloads, target transitions, movement, utilizing cover, and trigger control. For those familiar with firearms and want to improve their skills for real world situations.

Builds on basic shooting skills, focusing on handgun effectiveness under pressure and realistic self defense scenarios. Covers advanced techniques such as one handed shooting, malfunction clearance under stress, shooting from multiple positions, movement, and situational awareness with defensive mindset. Intro to trauma medical procedures and management.

Defensive Pistol Level I is a prerequisite for this course.

Instruction on engaging and transitioning between multiple targets, tactical and speed reloads, how to identify and clear malfunctions, shooting while using cover and concealment, optics, use of lights,  and gear set up and selection.

Builds on current shooting skills, focusing on effectively performing under pressure during realistic self defense scenarios. Covers advanced techniques such as shooting while moving,  transition from rifle to pistol,  malfunction clearance and reloads under stress, shooting from multiple positions, utilizing cover, engaging multiple targets  and situational awareness with defensive mindset. Intro to trauma medical procedures and management.

Defensive AR-15 Level I is a prerequisite for this course.

Introduction, explanation, and demonstration of utilizing a tourniquet, chest seal, Israeli and  H and H bandages. Basic first aid and life saving techniques, medical gear selection and concerns.

Builds on Level I, with instruction on M.A.R.C.H., ensuring proficiency on stopping Massive hemorrhaging, clearing an airway, managing the respiratory system, checking circulation and preventing hypothermia. Demonstrating how to secure a scene, conduct triage assessment, notifying first responders, and managing a scene until follow care arrives.

Build on Level I and Level II, you will be given a refresher on previous instruction, continued with advanced follow on procedures and techniques that you will get to put into practice. You will be put in realistic scenarios and have to apply life saving measures and techniques under stress in both hostile and non-hostile situations. Advanced topics such as needle decompression to treat tension pneumothorax, cricothyrotomy to alleviate a blocked airway will be explained and demonstrated.

Trauma Medicine Level II is a prerequisite for this course.

A personalized approach to your specific facility and staff. We will come in and conduct an assessment focusing on ensuring you are a hard target. We will conduct training and offer improvement insights.

We will come and conduct a threat assessment, offer classroom instruction to your staff and volunteers on active shooting roles, responsibilities and responses. After the classroom portion, the personnel you choose can run through scenarios and responses in your facility to include conducting a lock down, communicating internally with staff and volunteers,  external communication with first responders and appropriate actions during and after.

If you are looking at creating a church security / safety team and don't know where to start, this is for you.  We will conduct an assessment of your building and grounds, offer recommendations to ensure safety, draw up an Emergency Action Plan for your staff and volunteers,  and teach emergency medical procedures, roles and responsibilities, and lock down procedures once you have a team in place.
