Learn the origins, phases of care, and guiding principles of trauma medicine. This introductory course will equip you to understand basic tactical elements and balance medical priority with the tactical situation. Learn to employ critical, time-sensitive medical interventions in a trauma emergency such as tourniquets, pressure bandages, and chest seals. Learn various methods for moving your patient to safety. Thinking properly is as important as doing properly—this course will be the beginning of learning both.

This course will widen and deepen knowledge of tactical emergency care, as well as reinforce skills and mindset introduced in Level I. The MARCH assessment and treatment algorithm will be the primary focus, giving learners a complete approach to trauma patient care. Triage and scene management will be introduced, as well as proper patient hand-off and report to arriving EMS units.

performance under pressure. The focus of this course is more on hands-on, with
learners required to perform under stress in high-fidelity scenarios. This course will conclude with a discussion on PTSD, mental health, building resilience, and a debrief. While no one can be fully prepared for tragedy, the goal of this course is to prepare you as thoroughly and effectively as possible without actually experiencing the reality.

A personalized approach to your specific facility and staff. We will come in and conduct an assessment focusing on ensuring you are a hard target. We will conduct training and offer improvement insights.

We will come and conduct a threat assessment, offer classroom instruction to your staff and volunteers on active shooting roles, responsibilities and responses. After the classroom portion, the personnel you choose can run through scenarios and responses in your facility to include conducting a lock down, communicating internally with staff and volunteers, external communication with first responders and appropriate actions during and after.

We will conduct an assessment of your building and grounds, offer recommendations to ensure safety, draw up an Emergency Action Plan for your staff and volunteers, and teach emergency medical procedures, roles and responsibilities, and lock down procedures once you have a team in place.
