TRAUMA MEDICINE LEVEL II

 This course will widen and deepen knowledge of tactical emergency care, as well as reinforce skills and mindset introduced in Level I. The MARCH assessment and treatment algorithm will be the primary focus, giving learners a complete approach to trauma patient care. Triage and scene management will be introduced, as well as proper patient hand-off and report to arriving EMS units.

Includes cognitive and hand-on portions.

Trauma Medicine Level I or equivalent is a prerequisite for this course.
